Users will be able to specify the font sizes, styles, and colours, and foreground and background colours of Web pages displayed on the computer screen. Internet Explorer users should click on tools, options and then the colours, fonts or accessibility buttons.
PDF files
Adobe® Acrobat® ReaderT is free software that lets users view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. Download Acrobat Reader.
Adobe can also help users access content using assistive technologies such as screen readers or screen magnifiers. Users can link to the Access Adobe website for information on making these documents accessible.
W3C Compliance
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) provides Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) for people who create and maintain websites.
These guidelines help organisations provide websites that are accessible to people with disabilities. The guidelines are split into 3 priority levels:
• Priority 1
• Priority 2
• Priority 3
All pages on our site will comply with Priority 1 and the majority of pages will comply with Priority 1 and 2.
We are committed to maintaining and improving the accessibility of our site. Our longer term aim is to provide a site that complies with all WCAG priority levels.
Feedback
The website will include a feedback form, to allow users to offer suggestions for improvement.
